Our Team

Meet Kristen.  She is the founder, CEO, Chief Poop Picker Upper, Janitor, Head of Marketing and HR, Designer and Head Trainer here at The Metro Pooch; in her other life, she is the mother of three, a master of multi-tasking and problem solving, who is often running late, typically has to be in five places at once and can't remember where she left her keys, type of woman.  But in the end, all that organized chaos allows her to help coach her kids teams, never miss a game and volunteer her time to help dogs in need.  

  he started The Metro Pooch with a leap of faith and a whole lot of family support.  In 2010, she left Corporate America behind, to launch our original location in North Branford.  Since then, Kristen has spent the past ten years years studying dog behavior and training.  Her methods are force-free and positive based, with a focus on educating her clients how to best communicate with their four legged family members effectively.  

 
The Metro Pooch Pack is led by our Founder, Kristen Delea-Sacco.  Kristen has spent the last decade focusing on how dogs communicate, teaching us humans, how to actually understand what they need, how they need it and when they need it!  NO TLT is something you will hear her say often!  No Talking Looking or toucning!  Her focus is on  how to help them be the best version of themselves with the help of their family and loved ones who share influence in their lives.  and takes pride in having (in her opinion) one of the most highly trained teams in these areas!  studying various training methods  She loves to teach our team how much happens spends hours on end learning about how dogs communicate, how to reshape behaviors, stop unwanted behaviors and encourage the good ones!  gives us the upper paw in helping them live their best life despite their ups and downs!
